How are we even going to create this app?

As a group, we finally agreed upon what we wanted to do for our Capstone project. We wanted to develop a mobile app that everybody could use that aids in preparing nutritional meals regardless of any type of food restriction. Nevertheless, once an obstacle is conquered, there's always another one waiting ahead. Initially, it was about what project we were going to do, but now it's about how we were going to do it.

We've never had any past experience of creating an app, so this was new to all of us. However, since our team was completely driven, we knew we were going to figure this all out easily. We took a few days searching for different types of app builders, a few were iOS & Android compatible, while some only offered Android compatibility. We also thought about creating our app by coding, but due to time, we had to eliminate that option. We narrowed down our choices to GoodBarber, Appypie, and BuildFire. An app will be beneficial towards our audience because with the growth of people owning smartphones, apps will be one of the most convenient things to have (Leyden, 2015).

At the end, we decided that we were going to be using Appypie. One of the reasons to why we chose Appypie was because of financial problems. We would be saving a lot of money because the other two app builders were quite expensive. On the other hand, Appypie was only $15.00 a month, so it was the only option that made sense. Unfortunately, our Appypie package will only work for Android devices. In the end, everyone decided that we will start our platform at Android first and then go on from there.
