What Is Going To Be Our App Name?

One of the hardest tasks to do when creating a business/app is creating a name for it. This is because once you think of a name, there’s a huge chance that somebody already thought of it. We took a few days braining storming different names for our app, but each and every name was already taken. For example, “Nutritional Recipes”, “Food Intolerances”, and “MyHealthyRecipe” were all already used. We were constantly brainstorming different names, looking through both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store to make sure it wasn't used.

We soon realized that we wanted to include the words “nutrition” and “list” into our app name. “NutritionList” was already taken so we had to eliminate that name. So, we decided to find a way to combine it, but in a unique way. “Nutri-List” was the name we all decided was the best fit for our app name. Our app will provide nutritious recipes that exclude certain allergens set by the user’s preference. Which will save people from wasting food since they usually don't know what to do with the excess ingredients (Erbentraut, 2016). Even though, it took a week or two, it was worth it considering how there’s no other app/website named “Nutri-List”.
