For the first time since school started, our capstone group was finally going to present our project. The Nutria Company was going to be the first group to present this year. Even though, the pressure was on, we did not stress. We were confident in our abilities to give a great presentation. As a group, we understood that we all had to have equal speaking time as well as speak in a non-monotone voice. It is proven that speaking in a non-monotone voice would keep our audience's attention (Oakley, 2012). Our website was all fully completed and the app was ready to go.
With the live demo on the TV idea, Nutria was confident that we’d do well. Many of the groups didn’t plan on trying to use the TV to showcase their app, so we felt that our presentation was going to be unique. However, the only thing holding us back was that we didn’t know how he was going to be grading. Was he going to be grading the product or the presentation or both? No matter what, we were confident and we were ready to give the best presentation we can.
