The Nutria Company has so far successfully presented our app to two classes and have gathered very informative feedback. The Nutria team has been working towards taking all the feedback regarding app development, website management, and presentation factors; and implementing it towards our mid-term presentation this Friday. However this is not Nutria’s only goal these coming weeks. The Nutria company is aiming towards successfully publishing Nutri-List on the Google Play Store, releasing and posting ads, and editing and releasing a video ad.
As far as publishing Nutri-List, the Nutria company is working towards gathering funds in order to obtain an Android developer account and propose our mobile application to the play store. Our director of technology, Dominic Anaeto, believes Nutri-List is ready to enter beta testing trials and the company should begin gathering potential Android testers. These tests will run until around the end of November. The company will then gather further data to improve the app with future updates.
As for advertisement of Nutri-List, the Nutria company has settled on two main methods of advertisement. The first being a 25 second long video advertisement that will quickly explain how Nutri-List will benefit its users. It is proven that advertisements with low duration tends to keep the audience focused (Korones, 2012). The Nutria company’s second method for advertising is putting up flyers and posters for our mobile application at local grocery stores and restaurants. We hope to expand our user traffic with these marketing strategies.
