The Mid-Term

After a couple months of researching, putting everything together, and finally creating the app, it was time for the Mid-term. The objective of the Mid-term is to show the different companies where they are as of right now. It can either prove that you’re on task or it can prove that you’re behind task. Personally, the Nutria Company has the highest grade in the class, so we had pressure on us to keep it that way.

The goal that we set for the Mid-term is to do better than our previous score which was a 95. Even though, that’s a pretty good score, we understood that we had the ability to achieve greater. So, in order to achieve a higher score, the Nutria company had to revisit their old rubric to see past feedback. If we’re able to hit all the points listed in the rubric, we had no doubt that we were going to do even better.

In the end, we earned a higher score than before, a 98%. That is the highest grade the Nutria Company has received. However, we were very unhappy with the reason on why we didn’t get a 100%. Our timing of the presentation was a bit longer than expected which decreased our score. Also, the equal distribution of team participation was a bit uneven, which means that next time we will have to make sure that our group members presented equally as well as present under the given amount of time.
